We celebrated Wells' 1st Birthday with family and friends on Saturday August 3rd after his real birthday was on Friday. I had decided a while back that I wanted the "theme" to be whales since there has been an ongoing joke about Wells' name sounding like "whales" and my favorite outfits of his having whales on them. So off I went with planning and executing. I had his invitation, thank you notes, banner, cupcake wrappers, cupcake toppers, favor tags, water bottle wrappers, and other goodies all designed and personalized by a sweet Etsy seller and I was so excited with how it all turned out and coordinated together.

I printed a bunch of the pictures from his 1 year old photo shoot and had them displayed all over the house, as no one had seen them yet!
For lunch we had chick-fil-a nuggets, bagel bites, pinwheel sandwiches, fruit, veggies, chips, and dips!

The party was a wonderful success and we loved celebrating 365 days of this beautiful boy's life. Wells you have been the most amazing blessing to your daddy and I (and all of our wonderful family and friends) over the past year and we look forward to celebrating many many more birthdays!!
