About Me

I'm Erin, a 28 year old wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

My wonderful husband Ben and I have been pretty much inseparable for 12 years!
I met my high school sweetheart at the beginning of my Junior year and his Sophomore year of high school (Fall 2000).
After a full year of being best friends, we officially started dating halfway through my Senior year, January 9, 2002.  We broke up the day I moved to Auburn to start my college experience and he was about to begin his Senior year of high school, on August 9, 2002.

The next year, in August 2003, Ben, a die hard Alabama fan, decided to come to college at Auburn on the possibility that we may get back together.  On December 29, 2003, a few days after talking for hours at my sorority Christmas Date Party, we did just that.... we got back together and we have been together ever since.
Ben took me on an incredible surprise trip to Beaver Creek, Colorado and proposed marriage to me on March 24, 2007.
We were married, surrounded by our families and friends, on the happiest day of my life... November 17, 2007.
POST1, POST2, & POST3
Harper, our black lab, was born December 23, 2007, and he is our 1st and only fur baby.
Wells Robert was born August 2, 2012 at 7:19pm weighing 9 pounds 2 ounces and was 22 inches long.  He is the light of our lives and a true gift from God.
I have 2 incredible parents who have been married 33 years and 2 beautiful and talented sisters.  My oldest sister Natalie, married her high school sweetheart Stephen, and has 3 amazing children, my nephew and godson Bennett, my niece, Emory, and the youngest boy Jacob.  My youngest sister Rachel married Hollis September 2011 and they moved to Houston, TX.
Ben's parents have been married for 30-something years as well and he has 2 brothers.  His older brother, Will, married Amy, the best sister-in-law I could ever ask for, and they have a precious daughter, our niece, Leigh.  Ben's brother, Adam, is the youngest and final member of the family.

I love GOD, my husband, family, being Southern, the beach, food, date nights, photography, hunting camps, organizing, vacations, monogramming, new clothes, stationary, my sleep, being on the water, fresh cut flowers, my calendar, a good movie, my puppy, reality TV, cooking, snuggling, wine, being an optimist, fish tacos, my Macbook, a good smelling candle, color coded things, babies, cutting the grass, Auburn, fun fonts, celeb magazines, reading a good book in 1 sitting, traveling, Twilight series, riding 4 wheelers, new jewelry, massages, blogging... the list goes on and on.

I started this blog, at the urging of my blogging sister, on February 14, 2008 (I guess we didn't have any big Valentine's plans that night! haha) as a creative outlet for me, an online photo journal, and way to keep in touch with family and friends.

I love it when people let me know they are reading and comment on a post.  It definitely keeps blogging fun.  Thanks for reading!
