30 years ago today Roger & Janice were married.
yep, my momma and daddy got hitched and are now celebrating 3 decades of marital bliss!
It is amazing to see how very much in love these 2 still are today and how you still see glimpses of the "newlywed stage" every now & then (...cough cough... this past weekend).
I always said that I hoped to find someone to spend forever with like they have, and I now know I have indeed found that. They have always represented that forever partnership and lifelong friendship as husband and wife.
30 years later, I look at the life they have built and been successful at together: family (3 daughters, 1 grandchild now), work, friends, home, health, happiness, etc etc. I wish them 30+ more years and thank them and love them very much!
(the funny thing about sisters having blogs... great minds think alike i guess, b/c i had drafted this post yesterday and was scanning in their wedding picture today when I saw that she posted about their anniversary too! so go there to see her tribute to them & more cute pics as well!)
