Girly Shower

My sisters and some of my closest and dearest friends threw me my "Girly Shower" to celebrate Wells' upcoming arrival.  

How precious, right?   My sister had her house looking beautiful and all of the details were awesome.

My sister Rachel found this precious little baby shower survey on Pinterest that she personalized and printed out and had there for all of the guests to fill out.  It allows everyone to 'fill in the blank' after a list of questions.  Some people took it seriously, some made jokes here and there, and overall, they just made me cry.  These pieces of paper containing wishes for Wells' life and the man he will grow into being will be something I cherish and I think that Wells will too one day.  We plan to bring some more blank ones to the hospital to have more friends fill them out that weren't at this shower.  

Brunch was served and was absolutely delicious! 

SO many sweet friends, coworkers, and family came to celebrate and Wells now officially has everything he will need (and I could want)!

My sweet friend Caroline (pledge sister at Auburn) came down from Birmingham for the weekend and stayed with us and helped host the shower...  Sweet precious friend who is always there for me and has a heart of gold!

with Mellissa, our babysitter and my dad's nurse when we were younger... still a wonderful friend of the family who came in town for my shower and also was the incredibly generous friend who gave us our beautiful crib that Wells will be sleeping in soon!  

I couldn't ask for anything more and am so grateful for all of these fantastic people in our life!  After the shower we first went to Babies R' Us and then went home, Caroline helped me unload all the gifts, and we "played" in the nursery for the rest of the night... you know, organizing, putting things together, imagining Wells in the cute little outfits, and just having fun.
