We DEFINITELY have a Water-Dog on our hands. Harper has been swimming a few times before, mainly fetching things as Ben trains him. But this weekend, we went to Ben's beach house and were swimming for a while on Saturday. Harper would jump off the dock in to swim with us. After a while, Ben pulled him out of the water (he said the salt water is bad for his coat), but as soon as Ben walked away, Harper jumped back in and swam over to me!! He just loved it. We had been dredging some holes with the boat, so a little sandbar was created from all the moved sand. Harper could walk on the sandbar, with his head out of the water, so he didn't get so tired from actually swimming the whole time. He just had a great time, as did Ben and I!
