DAY 3
Wednesday morning, we all packed our bags and were set to leave Madrid. Now, to tell the back story, the reason why we were going on this trip in the first place is because it was arranged with some friends of Ben's family for all the guys to go shoot partridges together (like hunting quail or something here) at an estate called "El Crespo" 2 hours and 15 minutes south of Madrid. So off we went...
This is what the countryside of Spain looks like:
windmills and endless olive trees everywhere (for the delicious olive oil)
these bulls pop up every here & there
gorgeous skies
fields of solar panels
and tons of grape vines for wine (but theirs look quite different than Napa's)
Finally we arrived at our new humble abode on the hill, "El Crespo"
where lunch was awaiting us

after lunch it was time for the boys to go out on their first shoot.

It was really a lot of fun even though we were just watching!
That night we showered & relaxed with cocktails at the house before being served dinner there

What a lovely destination! Your pictures are great - beautiful countryside, great pictures for relating culture, and I think I noticed that Ben wore a tie to hunt! But it is a gentleman sport :)

Wow, I bet Ben was in heaven on this trip with the hunting and the lodge and all that! Your pics (especially the outdoors ones) are so stunning...they seriously look professional!
Ok now this was something we did NOT see or do in Spain! How amazing! I am loving all the updates of the trip!! The pics are amazing!
