VIVA LAS VEGAS

Ben and I decided we were craving another fun vacation, being so many months after our wonderful honeymoon, so we wanted to go somewhere the end of this summer... anywhere... We had Delta credit because we had planned a trip to Washington DC for New Years, but Mr. Bennett Roe was born when we were supposed to leave, so we cancelled that trip (for obvious reasons!), and needed to use our credit by the end of this year. We decided on Vegas because neither of us had been and the hotels/flights,etc weren't near as expensive as we had anticipated (that's cause they expect you to spend most of your money GAMBLING). Anyway, so we booked the trip from Friday August 22 until Wednesday August 27, and invited Ben's parents to come too. They joined us Friday and left early Monday morning.

To avoid talking to much, I'm going to overview what we did everyday, along with pictures of most things (of course, I took TONS of pictures). If anyone is planning a trip to Vegas, ask me about all these places... everything was incredible! There are an endless number of places to go and things to see!

Friday

• 5:00 PM Flew out of Pensacola (just barely missing the rains from Hurricane Fay)
• 10:30 PM arrived in Vegas
• checked into VENETIAN hotel
• drinks w/ Mr. Don in VENETIAN casino

Saturday

• Breakfast @ Grand Luxe Cafe @ VENETIAN
• Grand Canal Shops @ VENETIAN
• Picked up Jersey Boys tickets @ PALAZZO
• Picked up Le Reve tickets @ THE WYNN
• Forum Shops @ CAESARS PALACE
• Lunch @ Eiffel Tower Cafe @ PARIS

• Shopped @ CAESARS FORUM SHOPS
• Dinner @ Palm @ CAESARS PALACE
• 9:30 PENN & TELLER Show
• Played @ Venetian CASINO & Ms. LeJean won $2,500!!!!

Monday

• Slept in! (Kennemers went home)

• Laid out & swam @ VENETIAN POOL

• it rained, which they say it NEVER does in Vegas
• Went to Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum @ VENETIAN
• Shopped & visited famous TAO Nightclub @ VENETIAN
• 7:00 PM LE REVE Show
• Dinner @ Taquiera Canonito @ Grand Canal Shops
• Took a Gondola Ride @ Grand Canal Shops
• Played @ Venetian CASINO

Tuesday

• Shopped @ PLANET HOLLYWOOD
• Lunch @ Mon Ami Gabi @ PARIS & watched BELLAGIO Water Show
• Shopped @ VENETIAN Grand Canal Shops

• 10:00 PM KA Cirque du Soleil Show
• Watched Water Shows @ BELLAGIO

Wednesday

• 10:40 AM Flight back HOME!

What a FUN trip! ALL of the 4-500 pictures I took are in my Picasa Album here. I said, no less than a hundred times, "I HATE this camera!" because mine is HORRIBLE, and Ben keeps offering to get me a "good one" but i won't let him until an actually holiday or occasion can be the excuse for spending the money... but BOY did I wish I had one on this trip!! Oh well!
