Ben actually had to work on Friday after Thanksgiving, but took off half day and we packed up and headed to the Farm. We were eager to get out of town, and head a few hours north to be closer to drive to Tuscaloosa for Saturday. It POURED down raining the entire way there, so we decided not to go hunting in the rainstorm. INSTEAD, we geared up in rain suits and went on a 4-wheeler ride around the property, with Harper running along. We had such a good time, saw about 7 or 8 deer, a possum, about 4 turkeys, and some birds!
It did stop pouring down rain and just sprinkled the rest of the ride. After a while of running, we let Harper take a break, and told him to "get you some water" in a big puddle... next thing we know Harper is upside down, rolling in the mud puddle:
What a silly but LOVEABLE boy!
I would say the same about the boy below, too!
Will and Amy got there while we were on our ride, and when we all got back to the house we cooked steaks, potatoes, and salad and just hung out. It continued to pour down raining all night, which was actually very enjoyable to sleep through with a metal roof!! The next morning we were all headed North for the Iron Bowl!!
